Well, the Christmas and New Year's holiday is upon us so not much progress is being made while everyone is enjoying the summer.
We were surprised to see that there has been some very small changes in the house since our last visit as follows:
1. The house is actually locked up for a change (all windows are installed and all doors are locked) - this makes our viewing rather difficult and we haven't seen the upstairs section in weeks!
2. Garage has been plastered and cornices installed although no paint yet
3. Electrical fit offs are underway and looking good
4. Concrete floors look like they have been leveled so I presume the floorboards will be installed some time in early Jan
5. The stone bench tops are in (hooray!)
6. Tiling of wet areas is complete (no pics unfortunately since we can't enter the house anymore)
7. Front door and walk in pantry door has been stained (presumably the upstairs master bedroom doors have also been stained)
Here are a few more pics of our progress so far...

I also found it rather odd that we found a kids toy outside the house next to the port-a-loo.
Kez and I have also been wondering how much it would be landscape our small backyard. We are thinking of putting a jacuzzi in the back (on top of the concrete slab that has yet to be poured), decking around the jacuzzi and perhaps some wooden steps going up to a fake grass area at the back. The area is about 5m deep x 9m wide, with another 2m x 15m strip down the edge of the house. Any recommendations people might have would be most welcome :) Sorry about the bad picture - the sun light wasn't in the best position at 10:30am this morning... Viv
