Apologies for the delay in uploading some of the finished pictures. We've been busily spending our weekends purchasing new items and unpacking, along with working out where everything will live.
Hi viv and kez,
You house looks amazing! Congrats!
Just curious on what colors you went with for your walls and ceilings?

Hi JC,
Thanks for your comments. We ended up sticking with the same wall and ceiling colours as the Breeze 25 display home so we knew exactly what it would look like under natural lighting.
Ceiling was Dulux (white on white) and walls were Dulux (whisper white). Hope that helps!

Thanks for your reply viv. Great advice to stick with the display home colours, I'm thinking of doing the same thing.
Just another question regarding the process if you don't mind.. your tile appointment, when was this done? At colours or Before final contract signing?
Thanks.

Hi JC,
No problem at all with the questions (I had so many going through this process). Our tile appointment was actually done after we had signed the final contract and was put in as a no-cost variation. I questioned this process with Metricon but was told that this was 'normal'...it's a bit strange if you ask me. I'm not sure if others went through the same process, but our tile appointment was about 3 weeks after final contract signing.

Hi Viv and Kez
My husband and I love love love your place. We were just wondering what floorboards you used? Are they engineered or Laminate? What is the colour? I love them!

Hi Samantha,
Thanks for your lovely comments! The floorboards we chose are an engineered laminate, and the colour is "Savannah Oak". They are actually a lot more hardy than they look - so far no scratches despite me dragging furniture across them.

Were they expensive? So are they the engineered floorboards? Or an upgrade in the laminate?

Hi Samantha,
Sorry I should have been clearer - the floorboards are an upgrade in the laminate (not an engineered hardwood type).
In the breeze 25, we have the entire downstairs area (except the powder room and laundry) in the floorboards and the cost was around the $3100 mark. The area is about 10 squares approximately just to give you an idea.
